Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations and financing
of this new production company as well as serving as chief officer
to said company.
June 2000-December 2003 President/CEO Kerplink Link, LLC
Solely responsible for all aspects of all operations of this individually
owned Internet production company.
October 2000-August 2002 Office Manager Scott & Co
Responsible for all correspondence regarding purchase orders, computer
operations, order fulfillment, basic accounting, bookkeeping, filing,
and receiving and logging into inventory all new merchandise. Also
assisted in the preparation of financial documents/accounts payable
and receivable.
The vision of I Wrote That! stems from Ms Watson’s first hand
experience of transforming children’s works to sketch comedy
during her tenure as company member of Griffin’s Tale Children’s
Repertory Company” from 1992-1994. She produced the stage world
premieres of “Dealing with Dragons” and “The Math
Problem” in Chicago. Ms. Watson is a founding member of “Runamuck
Productions” a children’s theater troupe, also in Chicago.
Her extensive background in Children’s theater and drama provides
her with a unique insight into children as entertainment consumers.
As president and CEO of Kerplink Productions LLC, Ms. Watson recently
produced GTTV, a children’s TV pilot. Ms. Watson graduated from
Northwestern University with a Bachelors degree in Communications.
